7 Reasons Why You Feel Drained All The Time

Do you oftentimes feel drained? Do you find yourself being drained all the time? Do you wnder why you feel drained?

People especially those who are sensitive to energy might find themselves feeling drained most of the time and can not figure out why it is the case.

The simple answer is that you are letting other people take your energy.

You are giving to much focus on other people instead of focusing on helping yourself.

I am going to talk about specifically 7 things that can drain your energy and they are of the following.

  1. eating unhealthy
  2. giving out to much energy to other people
  3. not exercising
  4. being on social media a lot
  5. being around a lot of negativity
  6. environment
  7. you are very sensitive to energy

Now that you know what I will be going over in this article, let us get right into it starting with the first reason.

1. Eating Unhealthy

The first reason why you feel drained all the time is that you are eating unhealthy.

I know that this might be a hard one to get rid of especially if you like fast food.

But if you want to have more energy and feel less drained and lazy, then you will have to cut down on it.

If you don’t know, certain foods vibe at different frequencies, some are higher and some are lower than others.

For example, hot dogs vibrate at a frequency of around 2hrz which is really low.

If you are eating junk food, then you would not have that much energy because of the lack of nutrients that are in junk food.

If you want to have more energy, then eat healthier.

You don’t have to completely change your whole diet to healthy foods, you can just go a little bit at a time.

Add about one or two healthy foods every month or so and then eventually most of your diet will be healthy foods and full of nutrients that you need to be energized throughout the day.

2. Giving Out To Much Energy To Other People

Whether you are aware of it or not, you might be giving out to much energy and power to other people.

This will result in feeling like you don’t really have any power and feeling drained.

If you think that this is the reason why you feel drained, then this is how you get your power and energy back.

First, you have to adjust your focus, whatever you focus on grows so if you are focusing on the person or people that are draining you then you will have more of that.

Second, Identify why you are being drained by this person or people. Is it because you are giving to much of your power? Is it because of the energy that they are putting out?

Thirdly, Create boundaries. Try and limit the number of times that you see them as much as possible, If you have to be around them, then get ready and give yourself breaks when you feel like you are being drained too much.

3. Not Exercising

The third reason why you feel drained all the time is that you are not exercising.

Exercising helps get the blood flowing and it also helps to get the energy flowing through the body.

If you don’t exercise, then energy will not go through your body as well as it would be.

You can do a bunch of exercises like yoga, walking, running, going to the gym, or playing a sport.

I find for myself that yoga and playing basketball really gets my energy flowing through my body and I really enjoy doing those two things.

I find that if I do any of those two things, I am less drained during the day.

So if you are feeling drained, then try exercising.

4. Being On Social Media A Lot

Social media is very addicting and can drain you if you are on it for long periods.

Not only that social media can drain you but it can also ruin your entire day if you find something that you didn’t like or was mean.

Being aware of what we are exposing ourselves too and how much of a certain thing we can take is a big key factor of being able to not be drained by social media.

I have seen that if I am on social media for at least 15 to 30 minutes, then I start to feel drained.

So to combat this, I take breaks from social media so I can avoid being drained all the time.

I would recommend you do the same, it will help you have more energy during the day.

5. Encountering A Lot Of Negativity

Being around negativity is one of the big ones when it comes to you being drained

Being around negativity can be draining especially when you are around people who are negative most of the time.

You would need to learn how to distance yourself from negativity.

This might mean you have to stop being around negative people or negativity in general or at least limit it.

Though sometimes it is hard to do especially if you live with someone negative.

I live with someone who seems negative a lot of the time so I know how hard it is.

I would say don’t react to whatever they are saying or pay attention to what they are saying that is negative.

And try to not be around them as much as possible.

Those tips will help you be less drained by negative people and negativity in general because those tips are what I personally do and they work for me.

6. Environment

The sixth reason why you are drained all the time is because of the environment you are in.

I know that this might sound woo woo to some people but certain places vibe at different frequencies.

Like an alcohol store will be a lower vibe place then let us just say a Mayan ruin which is a high vibe place.

I know that I feel drained because I go to school for about 5 days a week.

The frequency of a school is about 190 which to me is a little low as I think I vibe at around 375 to 400.

So ya, whenever I am at school, I make sure that I keep my vibe high as much as possible.

The only way to solve this that I can think of right now is to move to somewhere that is vibing higher.

If you can not move to a place that is a higher vibe, then work on yourself and increase your vibration.

The vibration of other places will depend on the person. Some places will seem higher vibe to one person and some places will seem lower vibe to others.

7. You Are Very Sensitive To Energy

The last reason why you are drained all the time is that you are very sensitive to energy.

You pick up other people’s energy and energy in general pretty easily so if there are some lower vibe energy around you, then you will feel it.

People who are sensitive to energy are also known as empaths.

I am very sensitive to energy myself and I can say that it is a blessing but it is also really hard and frustrating to have this gift sometimes.

If I am by someone who’s energy is really low, then I will be able to feel it and I will feel drained because of it.

It can get really annoying at times especially when I am at school but I have learned how to use this ability.

I can tell which people to avoid and see through someone’s lies easily because I am sensitive to energy.

If you are sensitive to energy and you find yourself getting drained a lot, I would recommend to put up boundaries and take a certain amount of time in your day to recharge.

You can recharge by just by literally doing nothing, yoga, or doing some meditation.
