We think on an average of 60,000 to 80,000 thoughts per day.
That’s a lot of thoughts! So when we are thinking of negative thoughts the most, then we are thinking about 40,000 to 60,000 negative thoughts per day!
Now understand that that number varies per person, but you get the message.
So What To Do To Think More Positive Thoughts
Well how we can think more positive thoughts is to
- think more positive thoughts
- get rid of negative thoughts
- deprogram subconscious mind
- reprogram subconscious mind
And I will explain more in detail in this blog post.
The things that I am going to talk about in this blog post are to think more positive thoughts, get rid of negative thoughts deprogram the subconscious mind, and reprogram the subconscious mind.
So now that I gave a brief overview of what I am going to talk about in this article with, let us get right into it.
Think More Positive Thoughts
I know, this is an obvious one, but it is pretty difficult to have more positive thoughts if you don’t think more positive thoughts.
You might have to consciously have to think positive thoughts for a while and ignoring your negative thoughts but once it turns into a habit, you will notice that you will automatically have more positive thoughts.
Now, this will probably be a little difficult to do or make a habit of doing-especially if you energized negative thoughts for a long time.
But I promise you that when you get in the habit of thinking more positive thoughts, you will start having more positive thoughts automatically after a while (meaning you won’t have to try to think positive).
Get Rid Of Negative Thoughts
Another way is to simply get rid of negative thoughts.
Some ways that will help you do that is to ignore your negative thoughts, think more positive thoughts as I mentioned beforehand, meditation, and deprogramming and reprogramming the subconscious mind.
Like I said in the first one, to get rid of negative thoughts, you have to do the things that I said that would help consistently.
If you aren’t consistent, then you will be stuck in having negative thoughts again.
So make sure that you make it a habit.
Negative thoughts will slowly go away when you do.
Deprogram Subconscious Mind
The subconscious mind absorbs and records everything.
So when you have a negative thought, it is coming from the subconscious mind.
Imagine all the negative thoughts that are in your subconscious mind from all the things that happened in the past.
Ya, it’s a lot.
You can deprogram your subconscious mind by meditating.
There are a bunch of guided meditations on YouTube that help you deprogram the subconscious mind.
You don’t need to do a guided meditation, but I do recommend it if you are new to it.
Reprogram Subconscious Mind
After you deprogram your subconscious mind, you then can reprogram your subconscious mind.
There are a bunch of guided meditations for reprogramming your subconscious mind but if you want to meditate without someone guiding you then that is fine.
If you are new to meditation, then I would recommend doing a guided meditation, but it’s your choice.
One more thing that I need to mention.
It is very important that you deprogram your subconscious mind before you reprogram it.
Why? you may ask.
Well, when you go right into reprogramming before deprogramming your subconscious, the old stuff that is inside your subconscious will still be there and you will still attract more negative thoughts.
So the challenge that I have for you today is to
- Get rid of negative thoughts
- think more negative thoughts
- deprogram your subconscious mind
- reprogram your subconscious mind
Now, you don’t have to do all of these challenges, but it is encouraged that you do at least one of these challenges and make it a habit to do it.

The first way to have more positive thoughts is to think more positive thoughts.
Switch your focus from negative thoughts from positive thoughts and you will have more positive thoughts.
Second, get rid of negative thoughts. just simply ignore your negative thoughts and pay more attention to positive thoughts.
Where your focus goes grows.
Third, deprogram your subconscious mind. You can deprogram your mind through meditation and there are a lot of youtube videos that have guided meditations you can check out here.
Lastly, reprogram your subconscious mind.
Make sure to do this after you deprogram because you would get all of the junk that was in your subconscious out of there and will be able to reprogram it easier.
