If you possibly read my last post, then you might think it was a no brainer that I was going to talk about my awesome nightly routine.
If you haven’t then you should check out my last blog post on my awesome morning routine.
I also want to give you a warm hello and welcome to my blog post. Inside this blog, I am going to talk about my nightly routine I do everyday.
I am going to start by going over what I roughly do in my routine.
So, my nightly routine usually goes like this
- I do 5 minutes of breathwork
- I do some yoga for about 15 minutes
- I write down what I plan to do the next day
- I write down some business goals
- I go to bed
Now that I gave you a rough overview of my nightly routine, let us get into the meat and grind of the blog post.
Let us get right into it.
I Do Some Breathwork
Right around nine o clock at night I start to do some breathwork.
I do it for about 5 minutes and I breathe into the belly and the chest and then breathe it all out through the mouth.
I also put on some binaural beats if I feel like it will help me make my mind calm down a little more.
If you want to learn more about breathwork, then check out my blogpost on breathwork.
I talk about the benefits of breathwork.
I also sometimes change it up and meditate if I feel like I need to meditate instead of breathwork.
If I do meditate, I usually meditate for about 10 to 20 minutes and listen to a guided meditation too.
I Do Yoga
After I do some breathwork or I meditate I then do some yoga.
I have recently been doing yoga because my yoga mat was dirty and I didn’t have anything to clean it with.
I didn’t want to do any yoga with a dirty mat so I waited until I got a yoga cleaner.
Recently I got a yoga mat cleaner so I can do yoga again.
I was surprised that I still remembered my yoga poses.
It had been months since the last time I did yoga and I was doing it like I was doing it every day.
I do not know what the poses I do are called but If you want some idea of what they might are, I do poses that focus on the back and the legs.
I Write down What I Plan To Do The Next Day
I have been planning my day for over 4 months and I can see it has huge benefits over my life.
I noticed that I feel less anxious when I get up for the day because I know what to do during the day.
If you are interested in the benefits of planning your day, then check out my blog post on it.
It shows you the different benefits of planning your day.
Now moving on, I write my plans down on a piece of notebook paper and it is a little different every time.
I don’t do all of the things that I write down but I do most of them.
I Write Down Some Business Goals
Right after I write down what I plan to do the next day, I then write down some business goals.
I write them down on a piece of notebook paper and I write out anything that is business-related that I wanted to accomplish the next day.
It keeps me a little organized and helps me know what I am going to do the next day.
This may include completing a blog post, sharing or posting it on social media, working on my e-mail list, and so on.
It depends on what day it is.
Somedays, I don’t have that much business stuff to do at all, but somedays, I have a lot of stuff to do.
Usually, those days are when I don’t have school or when I don’t have to work.
I Go To Bed
Lastly, I go to bed.
I usually go to bed at around 10 o clock during the week because of school.
On the weekends I usually sleep around 11 or 12 o clock because I don’t have school during the weekends and I work during closing hours so I usually get out around 9:30 or 10:00 pm.
Sometimes when I am in bed I visualize the version of me that I intend to become.
I fully emerged in the person that I intend to be.
One thing that I do that you should do to when you visualize is to have your 5 senses involved in your visualizations too.
So when your imagining being on a beach, then think what it will smell like, feel the sand beneath your feet, taste the air, and emerse in it.
Make sure you imagine yourself in the first person so it can be more effective.
Let us go over what I talked about today.
First, I do some breathwork.
I do it for about 5 to 10 minutes and I sometimes meditate for about 10 to 20 minutes.
Second, I do yoga.
I do yoga for about 15 minutes and I don’t remember what the positions I do are called but I know I do multiple for my back and multiple for my legs.
Third, I write down what I plan to do the next day.
I write them down on a piece of notebook paper and I have been doing it for about 4 months and I have seen huge benefits from it. I don’t get anxiety tath much in the morning because of it.
Forth, I write down some business goals.
I write them down so I can stay organized and so I know what I need to accomplish the next day that is business-related.
Lastly, I go to bed.
I usually go to bed at around 10 o clock during the week but at the weekends I go to bed around 11 o clock.
I also visualize the version of myself that I want to be and emerse in that version of me.
That is the bulk of what I talked about today.
I hope that you guys enjoyed it and make sure if you have any questions or you want to share your nightly routine, then feel free to comment them below and I will reply to you as soon as I can.
Have a great day.
But before you go, I have one question for you,
What is your nightly routine?
